This evening, Linda is making a pot of soup. We eat a lot of soup here, as it is easy to prepare with few utensils, nutritious and, most importantly, delicious. She wanted me to post a picture of her new soup pot, so here it is.
As you can see, we have a four burner gas stove (the tank is under it). With the microwave (1200 watt), we're set for almost anything we want to cook.
We're not buying water this trip. Instead, our kitchen has a water filtration system that removes the impurities by means of a clay filter. There's no strange tastes either and, of course, it is safe to drink.
Water filtration systems like this, which are quite economical (Q300, new filter Q200 - needed annually). Here's more information about it: http://www.ecofiltro.org
