Transportation in Antigua

As you probably know, we don't have a car in Antigua. In fact, we don't need a car or even want one.

Antigua, itself, is only about 10 blocks by 10 blocks. You can walk across it in 30 minutes or less. Of course, if you've been to the mercado and have groceries or are just tired, there are affordable options.

We've chosen a personal tuk tuk driver, Daniel, a hard working young man who we are using exclusively.

For only Q15 (about $1.93), he will come to our casita to pick us up or return us from near the mercado. We've been using him since we arrived and now he knows us as Sr. Buzz and Sra. Buzz. To call for a pick-up, I just text him. This will probably amaze my daughters.
