At Night in La Antigua

Since we were tired from our trip to Guate, we decided to walk into el centro (downtown) and have dinner at Pollo Campero. On the way back, I took some interesting night photos.

This is the front of the cathedral lit up at night.

This is the north gate to the courtyard of San Francisco El Grande.

This is the lighted exterior of San Francisco El Grande.

The front door of Escuela de Christo was open, so it took this photo. There was only low light. If you enlarge the image (twice, if possible), you should be able to make out some detail.

Tonight, I read in a news article, we would be having a Super Full Moon. It's called this, because it's at its closest approach to Earth in 18 years. It looked great to the eye, but capturing a good digital image was difficult. This one also get more interesting if you enlarge it twice. By the way, I took this photo at the end of the one block street that we live on. It gets a lot of traffic, which hardly ever slows down, so I guess I'm fortunate to be here to share this with you.
