Candelaria Church ruins

On our way home on Friday, Linda decided to do a full body press with the sidewalk and ended up twisting the ankle she broke about six years ago. Two Guatemala business men immediately came to our assistance and helped her up. After resting a short time, we continued our walk home, with her using me as as support. I wanted to get us a tuk tuk, but finally realized that we were walking the wrong way on a one-way street.

We made it home and iced down Linda's ankle. After getting her all settled in, I walked back across town to watch part of the Friday afternoon wheelchair basketball game. It's very aggressive, as our guys are getting ready for an international tournament in Mexico City next November. Only the top players will get to go, so everyone is playing very aggressively.

I didn't take any basketball pictures this time, but got a nice shot of the Candelaria Church ruin, which is in back of the basketball court that we use.
